Retailer pilot · Germany · one platform

Riibuy for retailers

Keep the value of an unwanted order in circulation. Give customers a resale option before the parcel comes back.

Pilot proposal — retailer connections, payments, shipping and vouchers are not yet connected. No retailer partnership or achieved savings are claimed.

See the customer journey

From return request to resale

  1. 01

    Start with the original order

A secure link in your order email or return portal would import the purchased product, size, price paid and delivery date. No blank listing form.

  2. 02

    Protect the return window

Each offer would follow the retailer’s return deadline. If unsold three days before that date, it would switch back to the normal return process.

  3. 03

    One parcel, seller to buyer

Prepaid carrier labels and tracking would support direct delivery. A licensed marketplace payment provider would handle customer funds, not Riibuy.

  4. 04

    Bring the customer back

After a completed sale, the retailer would issue a voucher through its own systems. Value, validity and redemption terms would be agreed with the pilot partner.

A pilot with measurable outcomes

Track offers seen and accepted, listings created, completed sales, days to sale and dispute rate. Report redirected returns and estimated CO₂ separately from verified results.

Trust before launch

The pilot requires purchase evidence, seller tag photos, identity checks through the payment provider, a written buyer-protection policy and manually reviewed disputes. Planned payment release is 48 hours after tracked delivery unless the buyer raises a dispute.

GDPR, marketplace reporting, Digital Services Act obligations, VAT on Riibuy’s fee and private-sale terms need review for the pilot market. These safeguards are requirements, not a claim that compliance is already complete.
